Description

Luxurious interior of the Empress's chamber at the Château de Compiègne, featuring a richly decorated four-poster bed, elaborate chandeliers, and walls adorned with motifs. The reverse has a handwritten address to Madame Blanchard, Buffet Opéra, Paris, with an inscription 'Souvenir G.T.' and a 5c green postmark canceled in Compiègne on 6-8-1908.
