Postcard showing the New Shelter in the Forêt de Compiègne, designed by Marcel Magès, where the Marshal Foch's wagon was used to sign the Armistice of 11 November 1918. The back bears a violet circular postmark 'ARMISTICE DU 11 NOVEMBRE 1918 MARÉCHAL FOCH' and an address to A. L'Hoste in Paris, with handwritten text at the bottom right.
