Luxurious interior of the Empresses' bedroom in the Compiègne Castle, featuring an ornate four-poster bed, two large chandeliers, and richly carved ceiling and wall decorations. On the reverse, handwritten address to Mr. Gilbert, 25 Rue du Chapelle, Paris, and a blue postage stamp with cancellation 'COMPIEGNE 24-6-18' (1918).
