Luxurious interior of Napoleon I's chamber at the Château de Compiègne, showing a four-poster bed, a sofa, a carved pedestal table, and a chandelier. Reverse: postcard published by the Musées Nationaux, sent to Mr. Charles Grand, Receiver of Registration in Fresnay-sur-Sarthe, with a 30-centime postage stamp and a postmark from Compiègne dated September 29, 1931.
