Description

View of the Town Hall of Compiègne, a gothic-style building with an ornate statue on a pedestal to the left and horse-drawn carriages in the foreground. The reverse features handwritten correspondence dated 7 February 1912, addressed to Mr. Gaston Castel, architect in Marseille, and a 5-franc postmark. The cancellation indicates dispatch on 22 June 1930 from Compiègne.
