View of the Rond-Royal Hotel in Compiègne, an imposing building with balconies and sloped roofs, surrounded by greenery and an ornate iron gate. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence dated February 23, 1919, addressed to 'Dear Cante,' and mentions '113th Infantry' as well as 'Compiègne'.
