Description

Memorial stone monument depicting a woman and a child, adorned with funeral crowns, erected in Compiègne for children who died in battle. Printed text on the front mentions the publisher Bonneson and the photographer Bannereau. Reverse: postcard sent to Madame L. Maurice in Enghien-les-Bains, with two 15-centime stamps and a postmark from Compiègne dated August 23, 1917.
