View of the facade of the Palace of Compiègne, an imposing neoclassical building with colonnades and latticed windows. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Mr. and Mrs. G. Lemarchand in Selens (Oise), with a Compiègne postmark dated 13 May 1952 and a mention of the publisher 'Edition Pierre Lacombe - Compiègne'.
