Description

Black and white view of the confluence of the Gher and Tardes rivers near Chambon-sur-Vouge (Creuse), with a village by the water and wooded hills in the background. The back features handwritten text dated August 16, 1902, addressed to 'Chérie Madeleine', mentioning the receipt of the postcard and vacation plans. The recipient's address is in Château-Gaillard (Gironde), with two 5-centime green stamps and a postmark from Castillon-Girondes dated August 17, 1902.
