Colored view of the Bosphorus in Constantinople, with palaces and buildings along the shores and sailboats on the water. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated Saturday, February 8, 1914, sent from the Lohathian Hotel in Constantinople, addressed to Madame Sagard in Gramond near Sécamp, with a red 5-centime stamp and a Constantinople cancellation.
