Black and white scene depicting a man in a sailor's costume and a woman in traditional Sablais attire, exchanging an object near a beach setting. On the reverse, a French 8 franc postage stamp, postmark from Sables-d'Olonne dated August 13, 1952, and handwritten address to Madame Borchet in Concarrière (Sarthe).
