Printed text at the top and bottom: 'BRETON COSTUMES' and 'The first puff — Young Breton puffing his pipe'. Reverse: French 5-centime postmark, handwritten date '1919/09', address to C. Rissette at Garents, 104 rue de Bourgoin, L'Haÿe, and inscription 'Correspondance' with a note on foreign correspondence.
