Postcard showing a crashing wave on rocks along the seashore, with the inscription 'COTE D'AZUR — Effect of a Wave' and number 1884 at the bottom. The back has a handwritten address to Madame Eugénie Chadefaux in Ternaux, with a French 10-centime postmark canceled 'BAYONNE'.
