Black and white view of a wave breaking on a beach under a cloudy sky, accompanied by the poem « Le flot bruyant sur le rivage » by J. Beneton. Reverse: handwritten text dated July 5, 1904, addressed to Madame A. Petit in Paris, with a 10-centime postmark and two cancellations from Sidi Bou Said (Tunisia) and Sidi Bou Said (Algeria).
