View of the ruined castle of Cency-le-Château, with printed red text on the front: 'Roy, ni Prince ne sait. Ni Duc, ni Comte aussi. Je suis le Sire de Coucy.' The reverse shows a handwritten letter addressed to 'Lulu Berthe' in Paris, with a green 5 centime stamp and a postmark of 'CHATEAUVAAN' dated 1907.
