Black and white view of an arched stone passage of Coucy-le-Château castle, surrounded by trees, with a red inscription on the front: 'I am not a King, nor a Prince, nor a Duke, nor a Count, I am the Lord of Coucy'. The back features a handwritten letter dated November 8, 1914, addressed to Madame Berthe Muet in Paris, with a postmark 'VAILLY-SUR-AISNE' and slanted handwriting.
