Picturesque view of the banks of the Mayenne at Couptrain, with a bridge in the background and a solitary pedestrian. The back features a handwritten letter dated July 31, 1911, addressed to a 'Dear Miss,' signed 'Georgette,' mentioning news of Madame Dubaud and a small liqueur decanter.
