Description

View of the snow-capped Matterhorn summit at Zermatt, framed by conifers, with a small wooden cabin in the foreground. The reverse features an address to Madame de Le Matte in Nogent-sur-Seine, a 10 centimes Helvetia stamp, and a circular cancellation from Gornergrat dated April 8, 1916. The handwritten text mentions 'Kulmhotel-Gornergrat 3187m, the highest in Europe'.
