View of the convent of La Grande-Chaîtreuse in La Cour d'Honneur, in the Alps, with its central building with slate roof and pointed spire, surrounded by buildings with sloped roofs and gardens. On the back, a 10-centime postage stamp of the French Republic, a postmark from Jassans (Hautes-Alpes) dated August 25, 1908, and a handwritten address to M. Desnoëls in Chevringes, near Villefranche.
