Description

Black and white view of the Grand Cloister of the Grande Chartreuse convent, a 215-meter-long Gothic vaulted corridor, with massive pillars and pointed arches. On the reverse, a postcard sent to 'Monsieur René Tendy, at Grindle (Series)', with a 5-centime green stamp and a circular cancellation marked 'SÉRIE' dated July 3, 1908.
