Description

Black and white view of the entrance to the Desert in the Grande Chartreuse, with a stream in the foreground and a bridge spanning the canyon. The reverse side shows a postcard sent to Mr. Paul Bouquetot in Brianne (Savoie), with a green 10-centime stamp and a postmark from Grenoble dated 18 July 1913. The handwritten message expresses enthusiasm for the excursion.
