View of the Grand Hôtel Briangon at the foot of the snow-capped mountains of Lautaret, in the Alps of Dauphiné. Printed text at the bottom: 'LE DAUPHINÉ. — Le Lautaret. — LL.' and 'Au Touriste, Grenoble'. Reverse: handwritten address to Madame C. Serches in Chabands, Marseille, with a red stamp and postmark from 'CHAMONIX' dated July 27, 1905.
