Description

Black and white view of an impressive waterfall in the Belledonne massif, surrounded by dense forests. The printed text identifies the location and height of the waterfall. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated 24 July 1944 expresses the sender's amazement at the beauty of the landscape, describing the waterfall as 'shocking' and 'magnificent'.
