View of the Parisian Cascade in Sassenage, Dauphiné, with a small metal bridge spanning the watercourse. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated July 10, 1931, addressed to 'My dear Germaine', mentioning a trip to Chambéry and memories of the cascade.
