Description

Black and white aerial view of the Grande-Chartreuse convent, surrounded by forests, with an imprint at the bottom. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame and Monsieur Émile Bourning in Varmaine, signed by Ernestine Henry de la Grande-Chartreuse, with a monastery postmark and a 15-centime postage stamp canceled in Chambéry on February 15, 1930.
