Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Grande-Chartreuse convent, nestled in a wooded valley. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated August 17, 1931, sent to parents, describing a hike in the High Chartreuse and a stay in Chamonix. A violet stamp from Grande-Chartreuse is affixed, with a circular cancellation.
