Description

Black and white panoramic view of the Grande-Chartreuse Monastery, nestled in a wooded valley, with its pointed-roof buildings. The reverse bears handwritten writing dated April 9, 1928, addressed to Mr. Guillaume Auguen in Grenoble, and a 25-centime French Republic postage stamp canceled in La Grande-Chartreuse.
