View of the Lourdes grotto with the statue of the Virgin Mary, pilgrims in prayer and hanging garlands. On the reverse, a postcard dated September 17, 1955, sent to Hermagès in Pleubian, with an 8 franc stamp depicting Lourdes and a postmark 'Lourdes - Hautes-Pyrénées'.
