Black and white panoramic view of Deauville beach with umbrellas and swimmers, bordered by a quay and a lively promenade, with the town and wooded hills in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Mrs. V. Couvouzier in Tancarville (Eure), dated August 18, 1951, accompanied by a 20-franc postage stamp and a Deauville (Calvados) postmark.
