Description

Lively view of Deauville's beach and promenade with many colorful parasols and pedestrians on the quay. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1957 sent from Deauville to Paris, mentioning the beauty of the landscape and the presence of many swimmers. A 12 franc postage stamp depicting the Pont Valentré, with postmark 'DEAUVILLE 16-6-57'.
