Aerial view of a large open-pit mine site in Décazeville, Aveyron, with stepped spoil terraces. The reverse indicates that the « Découverte » is unique in Europe, with terraces 8 to 12 meters high and a partial length of 1600 meters in the background, for a total length of approximately 8000 meters.
