Description

Painted view of a ruined castle on a rocky promontory, under a cloudy sky. The reverse indicates that the Drachenfels, at an altitude of 325 meters, is the most imposing and daring castle of the Siebengebirge, built in 1117 and called Drachenburg. The publisher BDL is mentioned at the bottom left with the number 111.
