Description

Postcard showing the Jacquemart clock in Dijon, with an inscription detailing its history: brought from Courtrai by Philippe le Hardi in 1382, given to the Burgundians, transported by Jean le Grand and installed on the façade of Notre-Dame. Reverse: handwritten correspondence from 'Broffe' to 'Monsieur M. Dela' in Paris, with partially legible stamp and cancellation.
