Description

Postcard showing the Jacquemart Clock in Dijon, with printed text describing its history: brought from Courtrai by Philippe the Bold in 1382, given to the Burgundians, transported by John the Fearless, installed for 32 francs and a half on the façade of Notre-Dame. Back: handwritten correspondence dated 15/10/17 to Madame Gabrielle Egélyment at La Madeleine, with address in Dijon, and postmark with cancellation 'Dijon'.
