Description

Postcard showing the Jacquemart clock in Dijon, with printed text describing its history: brought from Courtrai by Philippe le Hardi in 1382, given to the Burgundians, transported by Jean le Grand and installed by mayor Josset de la Halle. Reverse: handwritten correspondence dated December 21, 1934, sent from Paris to Madame Vonsion in Nantore (Saône), with a Christmas greeting and wishes for 1935.
