Description

Postcard showing a river scene with a boat and a man, attributed to Adolphe Appian (Lyon, 1819), French school. Printed text at the bottom indicates the gift to the Dijon Museum by M. Gaston Joliet, Prefect of the Vienne, in 1905. Reverse: handwritten correspondence to M. Paul Briceau at Penchâteau, Coire Inférieure, with two green 5-centime stamps and a Dijon postmark dated July 21, 1913.
