Lively view of Dinard beach with many bathers and beach tents at the foot of a green hill where houses stand. In the foreground, a sign advertising 'RESTAURANT LA MER'. Reverse: handwritten text dated August 14, 1943, sent to Mr. Jean Boulet in Talderièze, with a 15-centime French postage stamp and a postmark from Dinard.
