Illustration of the airship "République" with its technical specifications (length 60 m, volume 3,650 m³, engines 80 horsepower) and its tragic fate: destroyed with its crew in September 1909 by a propeller failure. Reverse: postcard from the Chocolat-Louit brand with a warning text on international acceptance of correspondence on the front.
