Description

Black and white view of a wooden bridge crossing the Divonne river, surrounded by dense forests and a few bare trees. The back features a handwritten letter dated July 31, 1899, addressed to Madame Clément Matton in Gamiers, near Chapon, with a 10-centime stamp and a postmark from La Salle (Ain) dated August 23, 1899.
