View of the port of Douarnenez with Île Tristan in the background under a cloudy sky. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated January 14, 1908, addressed to 'Monsieur Cher Monsieur' in Traves, with a humorous response regarding the age of the sender's father. Two 5-cent stamps are affixed at the top right, canceled with a postmark from Douarnenez (Finistère) dated December 14, 1908.
