Description

View of the military cemetery of Douaumont with its rows of crosses and the central monument under a dramatic sky. The reverse indicates the publisher 'Edition La Cigogne' in Paris, a handwritten correspondence to Mrs. Aubert in Courgeac, and a postmark of 15 centimes from Meuse dated August 25, 1963.
