Description

View of the gate of the castle of Dreux, whose ruins are visible, with printed text indicating that it was destroyed in 1593 by Henri IV during the siege. The reverse bears a handwritten address to Monsieur Lucien in Paris, a 50-centime postage stamp, and a cancellation from Château-Gaillard dated 13 May 1905.
