Description

View of the Tour du Télégraphe in Dreux, an ancient grey tower built in 1224 by Robert III, Count of Dreux, and destroyed during the siege of Dreux in 1593. Printed text at the bottom of the front. Reverse: postcard with space for correspondence and address, note 'Correspondence on the front is not accepted by all foreign countries', blue stamp featuring Napoleon III obliterated in 1897.
