Black and white view of Lotharstraße in Duisburg, showing a row of buildings with tiled roofs and some trees planted along the edge. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 14, 1923, addressed to 'Ma chère Maman', signed 'Maurice Herpini, postman at Duisburg'. A German postage stamp is affixed, with a postal mark 'Duisburg' and the number '16 1610'.
