Postcard showing the Defense Monument in Dunkirk, a female statue holding a shield and a sword, on a base with the inscription 'LA VILLE DE DUNKERQUE AUX ENFANTS'. The reverse has a handwritten correspondence dated October 31, 1914, addressed to Madame Maurice at Waillois near Sens, mentioning the workers' section and a shop in Dunkirk.
