Black and white view of a lake surrounded by vegetation, with a village in the distance under cloudy skies. The reverse features a handwritten address to Madame Baumont in Côte d'Or, with a 1952 postmark and a cancellation from Sainte-Élise. Four 2-franc stamps of the French Republic are affixed.
