Black and white view of Holyrood Palace and the summit of Arthur Seat in Edinburgh, with gothic ruins on the left and an imposing building in the center, in front of a mountainous landscape. The back has a handwritten address to Madame Charlotte Vartel in Rouen, a postmark of July 26, 1913, a green 3 pence stamp, and the series number 840/399.
