Illustrated postcard depicting Édouard Colonne, violinist and orchestra conductor, with a legend detailing his career: born in Bordeaux in 1838, 1st Prize in Violin in 1858, orchestra conductor at the Opera from 1891 to 1893, creator of the National Concert in 1874 and stage director of Salomé, Samson and Dalila, and La Valkyrie. The reverse indicates that this side is reserved for the address, with partial handwritten writing and a mark.
