Black and white view of the church of Talmont, a Roman-Byzantine building of the 12th century, perched on a coastal promontory overlooking the sea. The reverse indicates it was dedicated to Sainte Radegonde and served as a refuge for inhabitants threatened by pirates. The publisher is Cimy, with a mention 'PHOTO C. MACON' at the bottom right.
