Description

Postcard showing the Church of Val-de-Grâce in Paris, with an inscription indicating its construction by Anne of Austria to thank God for the birth of Louis XIV, on the plans of François Mansart, and the laying of the first stone in 1645. The reverse contains handwritten correspondence dated from Paris, addressed to a recipient in Lausanne, with a signature 'Cherius Lepi'.
